Santa Fe Itinerary
This itinerary combines luxury, great food, the outdoors and arts in Santa Fe and can be as relaxed or adventurous as you like. It places you at the Four Seasons Rancho Encantado, which is not downtown, but nestled alongside the Santa Fe National Forest and close to the Santa Fe Opera. There is free shuttle service to Santa Fe’s downtown, plus a variety of built-in adventures we think you’ll like to explore Santa Fe.
Day 1: Arrive to Santa Fe
Private transfer from the Albuquerque Airport to your hotel in Santa Fe. Check in at Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado, where luxury meets nature, just a 10-minute drive from The Santa Fe Opera House.
Your casita room, complete with a wood burning kiva fireplace, heated floors and a deep soaking tub offers all the privacy and comforts of home in a single-storey, 630-square-foot (59-square-metre) Southwestern abode. These casitas are equipped with an indoor wood-burning kiva fireplace, heated floors, and a deep soaking tub. Outside, enjoy a furnished patio.
Savor a welcome drink, before getting settled and enjoying the spa or grounds before dinner (included).
Day 2:Mountains & Native American Culture
OPTION 1: FULL DAY AT BANDELIER AND SAN ILDEFONSO PUEBLO
Guided hike at Bandelier National Monument with pick up from the hotel.
Take an easy hike along Frijoles Canyon and learn about the history and culture of the Native American people who once inhabited this area. Your guide will point out petroglyphs along the cliffs and show you various hidden caves.
At around 1:00PM, the group will be transported to San Ildefonso Pueblo for a traditional Native American feast
After lunch, the group will enjoy a pottery making demonstration and a guided walk around the Plaza at San Ildefonso Pueblo. The group will meet Elmer Torres, who once served as the Governor of San Ildefonso Pueblo, and be able to enjoy learning more about the history of the Pueblo People.
OPTION 2: GUIDED HIKE AT BANDELIER AND MOUNTAIN BIKING

Catered picnic lunch at Bandelier and transportation back to Santa Fe or
Guided Mountain Bike excursion along the Rail Trail from 2:30PM to 5:30PM. This is an easy ride with great views of the surrounding mountains. There are uphill and downhill sections but, overall, it’s an easy excursion on a trail that is packed will for mountain biking.

Dinner Recommendations: Enjoy dinner in downtown Santa Fe or back at the Four Seasons.
Day 3:Santa Fe Horseback Riding and Relaxation
Saddle up to explore Santa Fe on a two-hour ride in the Pecos Wilderness.
This riding outfitter takes pride in their horses and matching horse and rider. Group rides are booked by skill level and beginning level riders will not be placed on intermediate or experienced level rides.
All riders must provide their height, weight and skill level at the time of booking in order to match riders to the horse and group. Weight limits vary depending on horse availability. Riders who weigh more than 225 pounds (235 lbs during winter months) cannot be accommodated.
Hotel pick up and transfer R/T included.
After horseback riding in the morning, spend the afternoon at the resort. Take a hike, enjoy the pool, book a spa experience or find somewhere to enjoy Santa Fe views with a good book.

Day 4: Santa Fe Plaza & Downtown
Meet your guide in town after reaching Santa Fe historical district by Four Season complimentary shuttle.
Follow your dedicated guide for a tour of historical downtown Santa Fe, followed by a curated Canyon Road art walking tour.
Your guide will bring a fresh perspective to Santa Fe’s historic arts district. Home to over 80 art galleries, Canyon Road is a “must see” for any art lover visiting Santa Fe.
There are lots of cute shops and restaurants in downtown Santa Fe. Enjoy lunch and also dinner, if you choose, downtown. Shuttle back to the Four Seasons.

Day 5: Santa Fe Relaxation
Enjoy the day on your own in Santa Fe, luxuriating at the Four Seasons or exploring more art and culture in Santa Fe.
Day 6: From Santa Fe… Home
After breakfast, check out of the Four Seasons and head home.
