A not-to-miss Cantonese dining experience in Hong Kong at Ming Court.

If you’re traveling to Hong Kong, we recommend dining at Michelin-Star Ming Court. Located inside the Cordis at Langham Place, this regal restaurant with an excellent wine list is led by Chef Mango Tsang Chiu Lit, who with over 20 years of experience, cooks up delightful Cantonese cuisine. It was one of our best meals in Hong Kong and truly opened our senses and taste buds to truly authentic Cantonese cuisine.

Some menu items include Roasted Suckling Pig, Peking Duck, Drunken Sea Prawns with Shao Xing Rice Wine, Cod Fillet cubed and fried with Shanxi Aged Vinegar and beyond.

Below are photos from our lunch at Ming Court, which has earned a Michelin two-star rating. Don’t read this hungry, but do reserve this top restaurant on your Hong Kong travels.

Australian Wagyu Beef, Foie Gras fried rice. Chef Mango Tsang showed me how to make this dish. It requires quick cooking at high heat and a very good wok.

Chicken Consommé with Matsutake Mushrooms and Bamboo Pith served in Glass Teapot. It seemed so simple, yet had so much flavor.

Another shot of the Consommé broth. We are still craving this.
