“Travels with Darley” host Darley Newman has just returned from Colombia and Mexico, where she attended the United Nations World Tourism Organization’s General Assembly in Medellin and Guadalajara. Darley and the team from DCN Creative produced the special video, “Tourism Stories – How tourism enriched my life,” for the United Nations World Tourism Organization.
In Colombia, Darley and the team were honored to have this video showcased to the delegation of Tourism Ministers, Ambassadors and Dignitaries from around the world.
In Mexico, Darley attended the World Tourism Day festivities in Guadalajara, where her video was showcased at Hospicio Cabañas–– a World Heritage Site– with the backdrop of the remarkable murals of José Clemente Orozco, considered masterpieces of Mexican art.
This year’s event had Tourism Ministers, Ambassadors and Dignitaries from every continent and over 28 nations in attendance. Watch the video to learn more about the people working in tourism, and the power of travel to improve their lives and the welfare of their communities.
