Cycle the Razorback Greenway Trail in Arkansas. Ride from Fayetteville to Bentonville and enjoy nature, top food and art!

The Razorback Regional Greenway Trail runs from Fayetteville to Bentonville in Northwest, Arkansas, meaning you can bike from one city to the next. This trail isn’t just a nature escape. Along the route, you can stop to enjoy shops, restaurants and art or make the trip into a biking vacation and stay in bike friendly lodging.

From Fayatteville to Bentonville it’s about 36 miles and growing everyday. I joined local trail enthusiast Misty Murphy to explore some of the top places along the trail, ending our ride at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville and passing through a variety of destinations along the way, including downtown Fayetteville and Dickson Street, where there are lots of restaurants and shops. Our final destination was the beautiful grounds of Crystal Bridges, which has a variety of bike friendly trails, so you can view art while you ride.

While the museum houses priceless works, the architecture is also art in itself, composed to flow with nature and the surrounding Ozark Mountains– just one of the many interesting stops along the diverse Greenway Trail. If you want to turn this into a biking vacation, 21c Museum Hotel in Bentonville is a bike-friendly place to stay. They even have a bike valet service. This unique boutique hotel houses a contemporary art museum and is home to The Hive restaurant, a great place to eat in Arkansas.
